My name is Ripley Murphy, and I am a 2029 graduate attending Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas. I am a pitcher and outfielder. I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old. At that time, my rec team needed a pitcher since we were moving up to kid-pitch and I volunteered to try it. I instantly fell in LOVE with pitching and have been taking weekly lessons since 2019. I moved from rec league to my first travel team the next season in 10u. I started out with my secondary position being middle infield but over time I found my speed and arm strength helped me to be a strong outfielder. When in the outfield, I mainly play in Left but also play Center and Right. On the field I have learned how to be mentally tough and how to be both a stand-out player in my own positions and a good teammate to others. I am coachable, dedicated, loyal, determined, honest, and have high integrity. I’m looking for a college that has a softball program. My goal is to continue to improve and develop as a player while continuing my education and earning a degree that will help me develop my career.
